  6. Installation/Reinstallation:
  7. Shut down and restart the computer because you can not reinstall or
  8. modify a file that; is in use, is running, and in some cases if it has
  9. been running earlier. When rebooting, be sure you do not start any apps
  10. or programs, especially virus detecting programs. Be sure that 32bit Fax
  11. and associated files are not running or in use, and that 32bit Fax is not
  12. running as a service. Then, with no programs running, go to [Start],
  13. [Run], [Browse] and browse to A:\SETUP.EXE.

  15. You will find SETUP.EXE on the 32bit Fax installation diskette. SETUP.EXE
  16. must be run from a floppy drive, A: or B:.

  18. From the Program Manager, [Run] A:SETUP.EXE.
  19.  
  20. SETUP.EXE will create a directory called C:\32BF_TMP and expand the files
  21. from the 32bit Fax installation floppy diskette into C:\32BF_TMP. Then
  22. INSTALL.EXE will create a directory called C:\32BITFAX and install 32bit
  23. Fax into it. After the installation, you may want to remove C:\32BF_TMP.
